Alumni Scholarship Fund
Ratah Sok received the first Alumni Scholarship Fund Award. Graduates of Arts Street are giving back to the program that had contributed to their success. As college students and young people in the workforce, they meet at 11:00 a.m. every first Sunday of the month at the Downtown YMCA to network and to find ways to help "newbies". Their first scholarship "Teaching Internship", has been awarded to Ratah, a Graffiti Artist who loves art and wants to share his passion for art making through teaching.

Johnny Santos grew from spray painting railroad cars to computer graphic design because of having been a youth apprentice in the Web Design Team in 2000. He is currently working at the Safe City Office of the City and County of Denver, and attending The Metropolitan State College of Denver majoring in Graphic Arts. Read More
Christopher Reinbold’s great experience in the Arts Street Jazz Band led him to continued study of the trumpet, French horn, and trombone. After playing one year with the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corp, he was on tour with them in 2005 and played in 8 major cities. In July, he performed at Denver’s Invesco Field at the "Drums Along The Rockies" presentation.
Jesse Parris is attending College on the Auraria Campus. He won the First Place Photography Award of the Youth Career Skills Challenge Show of the U.S. Department of Labor, Washington D.C. in 2004. He wants to continue in photography and is looking for a donated camera.
Hitendra Pamar, 1999 Mural Team, has just completed his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Colorado’s School of Architecture and Design and is pursuing graduate school. He has an interest in cutting edge design, and the need to formulate new experiences through Architecture.
