The 21st century needs a creative workforce
Arts Street cultivates under-served youth into a creative and culturally competent workforce using the power of the arts. All Arts Street programs are designed to encourage students to think critically about the world around them and to find the best possible medium to express themselves.

With the Help of the Public and the Government...

The Denver Housing Authority is giving Arts-Street a bright, warm home at 1099 Osage, in Denver.  Adjacent to the Osage LightRail station, it will be easy for youth from throughout the Metro area to participate in creative job-training workshops and programs. A generous grant from the Denver Office of Economic Development will outfit this Arts-Street Accelerator with lights, storage, flooring and display systems for classes and exhibitions.

By March, the Arts-Street Accelerator will be ready for members and mentors and volunteers. We also want to re-connect with all our alum and participants from the past. If you are interested in our workshops and programming, please download the application below, fill it out, and email back to us at info@arts-street.org

Thank you, Rita and the United Launch Alliance for an employee time matching grant!

Thank You!!!

Finally, after fifteen years, Arts Street will be moving into a permanent home at 1099 Osage, DHA's Mariposa, early 2012.  The following sponsors and donors have been very kind and helped us move toward a $50,000 goal. They will be acknowledged on an exterior mosaic mural to be designed by youth and constructed with the community.
